A FOUNDATION OF LOVE
Each quarter, Like A Kitten donates a portion of sales to a nonprofit that focuses on women.
We’re honored to announce that for Q2, Like A Kitten will be donating a portion of our proceeds to the Joyful Heart Foundation — an organization dedicated to transforming society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, while supporting survivors on their healing journeys.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, support survivors’ healing, and end this violence forever.
While we understand that our vision may not be achievable in our lifetimes, we firmly believe that violence and abuse are preventable. In support of our vision and mission, we have developed and adopted a set of values and guiding principles that inform and inspire our approach to all that we do:
- Our Values are the foundation of our organization and guide our thinking, actions, decisions, responses, and priorities.
- Our Guiding Principles serve as a compass both individually and organizationally. They are the application of our core beliefs that help to shape and direct our work. We approach all we do and every decision we make with the Guiding Principles in mind.
Since 2004, Joyful Heart has been a leading national organization with a mission to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, support survivors’ healing, and end this violence forever. Joyful Heart carries out its mission through an integrated program portfolio of education and advocacy. Our work is paving the way for innovative approaches to treating trauma; igniting shifts in the way the public views and responds to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse; and reforming and advancing policies and legislation to ensure access to justice for survivors.
